GrantsGrants

The Southington Education Foundation is offering grants to teachers in the Southington Public Schools. The grants will allow teachers to identify and address needs, challenges, and concerns unique to their students. The identified project/program should be reflective of both the schools' mission statement and the mission statement of the SEF as well as coordinated with existing curricula. The SEF will only fund projects outside of the scope of the Southington Board of Education.
What kinds of grants are being offered?
The SEF wants Southington educators to "think big"!  What large projects would they like to see funded that would not be funded out of the regular Board of Education budget? These are the kinds of projects the SEF is challenging educators to come up with.

In addition, the SEF is offering $500 "mini-grants" which will be funded during the school year.
